Specific games for this ages have a higher level of complexity. Educational board games that adults enjoy playing as well, can be included in this category. Strategies, complex rules, reasoning but also spatial skills and more perception of colour, are all tasks included in games of this stage. Uno, Domino, Solitaire, Sudoku, Snakes and Ladders (also known as Chutes and Ladders) and even Monopoly are some examples. I share a little about these games in my forthcoming book.
