Play Learning Through Games

The real way to learn is through play, but do you do this with your child?

Over the past couple of decades, I discovered the hidden truths about the best way to incorporate the right types of math(s) games. That is why I put together my findings in the Race To Infinity™ game.

My next few blogs will explain why the right kinds of games work well.  The importance of game strategy and how to achieve desired results of making math(s) fun as well as yielding greater achievements, using appropriate strategy and techniques.

I grew up playing board games, with my siblings, friends, and parents. We played a lot, not just at Christmas, but as much as possible when free. My father actually enjoyed playing chess with us in his free time, while my mother often watched, laughed along, encouraged, and supported us. Although we played many chess games with my dad, it wasn’t exclusive, we also enjoyed other games like Monopoly, Ludo, Scrabble, Bible games, and Snakes and Ladders. Making quality time tends to create happy, joyful family memories.

I have always understood the power of play. It was a big part of how I grew up, and I am grateful for it. I make a point of playing board games with my children now. Through active play, children can develop more confidence, more curiosity, and a sense of reassurance, because it is not fearful or stressful.

Children learn such a variety of valuable life skills for current and future use in the real world and, particularly, creativity.  Your child will learn easily just the same, once you start applying the power of play learning.
